American Northwest Road Trip

By Chuck

We arrived at Crater Lake on our third day out--September 4th, 2013. I had been here only once before--in the early 1970's--but had not hiked down the only trail to the surface of the lake due to the presence of a bear on the trail as we were starting out. We gave him right of way that day and had to leave the next. I'm very glad to be back.
